Ingredients

  • 4 sole fillets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 lemon juiced
  • Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Heat the pan: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add butter and let it melt.

Cook the garlic: Once the butter is melted, add the minced garlic to the pan and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Cook the fish: Season the sole fillets with salt and pepper. Add them to the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown and the fish flakes easily with a fork.

Add lemon juice: Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the cooked fillets and let the sauce simmer for a minute to combine flavors.

Serve: Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve immediately with your favorite side dish.
